My initial foray into the genre was Real Estate Games: Water The Village. Simply said, I believe this meets the requirements for inspiring critical thinking and analytical thinking. Furthermore, we are only given a limited supply of pipe tools, thus accuracy and patience are key in this game.
Water The Village is a civil engineering game where players design the plumbing system for a series of villages.
- Select the START button on the left side of the screen to bring up the level select screen.
- The game has 14 stages.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Levels have a set number of goals to achieve to clear them.
- You can score 1,000 bonus points for pipe runs that pass through coins and 500 for any extra pipe pieces remaining after you complete the stage.
- You can earn up to 3 stars for your performance on each stage.
- After completing each stage click on the button in the lower left corner to go to the level select screen and then select the next stage.
Pipe runs
- Use your mouse left click to touch and drag from a pipe endpoint and drag it to a destination.
- Ensure no pipe runs are left open without a destination, and that no required inlets are missed.
- On some stages you need to run pipes across the stage to a splitter than run it back.
- If you make a mistake and want to remove a piece of pipe tap on it to remove it.
- If you make many mistakes tap the level restart button in the lower left.
Water types
- Connect cold clean water to blue inlets. Hot water can be cooled by running it through a snow spot.
- Connect hot water to red inlets. Water can be heated by coming from a hot source or running through a sun spot.
- Connect green waste water to treatment fascilities or recycling net filter systems to clean it. Cleaned water can then be connected to blue inlets.
Valves have countdowns showing when water will flow.
- If you complete the pipe run early you can double click on the valve to get the water to run early.
- On level 7 you must initiate the flow of hot water about 2 seconds before the cold water moves as they have a connection between them & the hot water has further to move.
- Some stages require quick play. If you are consistently running out of time be sure to do the pipe runs from the water pumps before doing the waste water runs downstream of the homes.
- Water pumps increase water speed.
It's really fun when we play it during the endless work or just to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the world that is always crowded.
Businees Simulation Games : Idle Town Billionaire
On to the second game I played, Idle Town Billionaire I assumed this game was like monopoly, but it wasn't, hence we purchased a house fit for use as a business headquarters. After that, we open new land like restaurants and apartments on unoccupied property with sufficient money or more. Remember to include staff members we rely on; you may say we hired a manager to oversee and arrange so we could make ever increasing income.
Many perks we receive for free over time act as capital loans for us. Though keep in mind all this involves a great degree of hard effort and discipline, I feel in the actual world I get a significant injection of money. That holds true in Idle Town Billionaire.
Idle Town Billionaire is an idle clicker game featuring 5 different small cities which are unlocked one building at a time.
- Select a lot with a blue price tag to erect a building there.
- Tap on a building to actively produce income.
- Select on the price below the building to upgrade the building production level.
- Select on the manager area to the lower left of the building to hire an operations manager or upgrade the manager to increase production speed.
- As you upgrade the building level and management it increases the rate you can produce active income from the building & it also increases the passive income.
- The upper left corner has a button for investor relations.
- Below the investor relations button are 3 buttons with mini games for generating income.
- Below the mini game buttons is a stack of cash button which you can select to double income for 10 seconds.
- At the bottom center there are arrows to switch between Rushcall, Flatdale, Highhall, Blacksteel, and Stormless City. You can switch between them anytime, though as you progress through the game buildings get much more expensive.
- The top center of the screen shows your cash savings and your idle earnings rate.
- The upper right corner has a settings button along with buttons to upgrade 5 or 10 levels at a time.
